FGL Services
As part of its full-service vessel chartering solution, Focus Global Logistics handled all aspects of the transportation process. This included confirming cargo specifications, preparing transportation drawings, planning routes, managing customs clearance, cargo reinforcement, lashing, measuring, and supervising the loading operations.
The Challenges
1. No direct vessel service
One of the main difficulties was the lack of direct general cargo vessel services from South China to Bintulu. To overcome this, Focus Global quickly coordinated with the Humen Terminal to arrange for a dedicated port call, ensuring the timely loading of the cargo.
2. Limited transportation time
Another critical challenge was the tight delivery schedule. At the time, the average delays due to port congestion in Bintulu were around seven days. To meet the client’s strict timeline, Focus Global carefully selected a vessel with priority berthing rights at the destination port Bintulu, minimizing waiting time and ensuring on-time delivery.
With a strong network spanning 10 domestic branches and deep partnerships with carriers and terminals, Focus Global is well-equipped to handle complex OOG and BBK projects. Backed by decades of industry experience, the company continues to build its reputation as a trusted partner in international heavy-lift logistics.
